Whisper Series Low Pressure Drop Mass Flow Meters and Controllers
Full-scale pressure drops as low as 0.06 PSID. Low pressure applications are no problem.
The Whisper series mass flow meters and controller are Alicat’s solution for low pressure drop applications. With full-scale flow rates from 0.5SCCM through 500SLPM in both meters and controllers and full-scale pressure drops as low as 0.06 PSID, even the most pressure challenged applications, or applications requiring the use of expensive gases, will be able to benefit from true mass flow measurement and control.

Alicat Scientific MS-Series digital mass flow meters accurately and rapidly measure the mass flow rate, volumetric flow rate, pressure and temperature of corrosive process gases such as NH3, H2S and SiH4. MCS-Series mass flow controllers further provide precise control of mass flow, volumetric flow and pressure via customized high-speed proportional control valves. At the heart of Alicat’s MS/MCS-Series mass flow meters and controllers is a patented, internally compensated, laminar differential pressure measurement technology that yields linear results over a very wide flow range. This produces volumetric and mass flow data that is fully compensated for changes in pressure and temperature and corrected for the user’s STP. Alicat’s PCU-Series portable calibration units combine up to three M-Series or MW-Series mass flow meters with totalizers and high-accuracy calibration inside a rugged industrial carrying case with its own power supply and battery. PCU’s include integrated push-connect fittings for each meter and Flow Vision SC software. At the heart of Alicat’s mass flow meters is a patented, internally compensated, laminar differential pressure measurement technology that yields linear results over a very wide flow range. This produces volumetric and mass flow data that is fully compensated for changes in pressure and temperature and corrected for the user’s STP. All PCU’s come with NIST-traceable high-accuracy calibration sheets (0.4% reading + 0.2% full-scale range).
