Alicat Scientific PC-Series digital pressure controllers provide precise control of absolute or gauge pressure of process gases and liquids. For backpressure control, the PC Series is available with downstream valves and inverse valve control algorithms. Alicat Scientific PC-PSID Series digital differential pressure controllers maintain the pressure differential between two points in a process using separate dead-ended pressure sense ports. Alicat digital pressure controllers come with NIST-traceable calibration sheets.
Dual Valve Pressure Controllers
Alicat Scientific’s answer to controlling pressure in a closed volume or system.
Alicat Scientific PCD-Series digital pressure controllers precisely and rapidly control absolute or gauge pressure within closed systems via dual customized high-speed proportional control valves. Systems with no in-line flow (dead ended systems) that require pressure control have previously required installation of a relief valves for pressure control inside a dead headed system. The dual-valve design of the PCD Series pairs a dedicated inlet valve with a dedicated exhaust valve, eliminating the need for bleed valves and costly continuous outgasing.
